Starring in the 1996 "Glam-rock" GUESS? campaign, Lonneke Engel, a stunning and sexy, 5'8" blue-eyed brunette found herself on the trail to supermodel stardom. Her discovery by Paul Marciano, the president and creative director of GUESS?, Inc. brought her international exposure and recognition.

Lonneke's much-talked-about campaign with GUESS? was photographed in New York City by reknown fashion photographer, Ellen von Unwerth. These captivating images were remembered on billboards, buses and bus shelter and in magazines all over the country.

Born and raised in Holland, Lonneke began modeling at a very young age for children's books. She was then noticed by a scout from Pauline's, and the rest is history. At just 16, she has already graced the runway in Paris and has been seen in many top fashion magazines.

Living a quiet and virtually normal life in Holland with her parents and little sister, Lonneke enjoys competitive horseback riding, playing the piano and traveling. At the head of her class, she excels in school and already speaks five different languages. For now, Lonneke wants to continue modeling and going to school, but dreams of becoming a pilot some day.
