Isabelle got discovered (age 12) at a talent hunt in 1987. Her manager decided to let her roam the soundmix-shows with a song called 'On my own'. She ended in the finals every time. Her first real song (de Troika) was released in October 1987, the same month she reached the first place during the 'Joepie-dag allemaal'-finals. This caused a huge media wave on the song 'de Troika' and a star was born!

During the following period Isabelle got to host a TV-show named "TV TamTam", a show made for kids in wich she sang songs about particular themes.

Summer 1990. Isabelle made it into the hitparade with the single 'Te Jong / Friends Together'. After that things really started to roll: TV- and radio interviews, performing throughout the country, and her first major hitsingle: "Hé, lekker beest"(platinum). Pretty succesful for a 15 year old! She's been performing with her own typical style of 'Dutch Dance Music' ever since... and let's hope Isabelle will keep on doing so for a long time.
