Eliza Patricia Dushku was born December 30, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts. She has 3 brothers and thus admits to being quite the tomboy when she was a little girl. Eliza was named after an aunt and often discusses the support her family has offered her life and her career ever since she was young. She also studied dancing and singing and was often seen in children's theater, signing for the deaf.

She began her movie career in the movie "That Night" at the tender age of twelve, playing Alice Bloom opposite Juliette Lewis. Now just barely 19, she is considered a veteran of the large and small screen.

Eliza has numerous starring roles in several acclaimed films. She has starred (and stolen scenes!) with such notable players as Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert de Niro as well Arnold Schwarzenegger in such major motion pictures as This Boy's Life & True Lies, respectively. She also did stage work years back and is currently planning to go to college if not in college. (She took a year off between high school and college to portray Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. After graduating from high school, the then-17-nearly-18 year old Eliza auditioned for cult hit television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and won the part of Faith, a Slayer much more troubled than Buffy. The role began in the fall of 1998 (BtVS Season Three) and was only supposed to be a short stint, but actress and character soon won over the cast, crew and audience. Faith became a recurring character for that year and stole every scene she was in. Eliza reprised her Slayerific role for guest spots during BtVS Season Three and later Angel Season One.

Two new film releases are on the horizon. Bring It On (starring Kirsten Dunst; formerly titled Cheer Fever) and Soul Survivor (starring Melissa Sage Miller) feature our lovely Miss Dushku. Both were filmed in late 1999 and will open in fall 2000.
