Christie Brinkley was one of the first supermodels of the 1980s but she's also another statistic: one of a long list of models who's been married to a rock star. Born and raised in California, Christie is the daughter of a well-known TV producer. In her early modeling days, she lived in France, where she met French illustrator Jean-Francois Allaux, who she married and later divorced. When Christie met Billy Joel in the early '80s, he was playing piano at the bar of a Caribbean hotel. Christie said at the time that she didn't know who Billy Joel was. They were married for 10 years and had a daughter together, Alexa Ray. Christie has had a minor career as an actress and she co-starred with Billy in his "Uptown Girl" video. She also had a short-lived talk-show on CNN called "Living In The '90s" and most recently has been seen hawking fitness products.

In a period of four years, Christie married twice and had children by both husbands. In 1994, she married businessman Ricky Taubman and had a son with him named Jack. Christie and Ricky divorced amid rumors of conflicts over money. In 1996, she married her current husband, architect Peter Cook and had a daughter with him named Sailor. These days, Christie is semi-retired from modeling and keeps busy raising her three kids at her homes in California and New York.
