Alicia Roanne Witt was born in Worcester Massachusetts
on August 21, 1975 to the joy of her parents Robert
and Diane.
Alicia said her first word when she was one month old
and began to read at six months. When Alicia was two
years old, Good Housekeeping magazine recognized her
as their youngest reader after she wrote them a letter.
Alicia started piano lessons when she was seven years
old.
Alicia's early artistic talent was evident when she
recited Shakespeare from memory at three years and appeared
in her first movie "Dune" at ten years old.
Her amazing artistic talent was growing as she won several
piano competitions over the next few years. Alicia and
her brother 'Ian' were schooled at home and when Alicia
was fourteen years old she earned her high school diploma
and one year later she moved to California.
Alicia made a living playing the piano at the Regent
Beverly Wilshire Hotel. She started auditioning for
acting roles, less than a year later, Alicia landed
a role in "Bodies, Rest & Motion" and
then David Lynch put her "Hotel Room".
The Movie "Fun" was next and she won a special
Jury Award at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival for her
portrayal of Bonnie. In 1995 she joined the cast of
Cybill.
Alicia went on to play in loads of movies like, Mr.
Holland's Opus (1995), Four Rooms (1995), Citizen Ruth
(1996), The Reef(1997), Gen 13 (1998), Bongwater (1998),
Urban Legend (1998), Mona Lisa (2000), Cecil B. DeMented
(2000)... What ever is in store for this great actress,
